One reference. One tracking page.

The price, what it includes, and what it leaves out are sent before you accept.

Cover when it is written

Shipment cover applies only when it is on the confirmed quote.

A page you can return to

Confirmed milestones stay on the tracking page. Your coordinator replies by email.

Delivery with evidence

Delivered status needs a proof-of-delivery reference.

Calculator

Shipping calculator

Billable weight, and an itemised estimate where a rate card is loaded. A coordinator confirms the price in writing.

What affects the price

  • Billable weight. Carriers charge for the greater of the actual weight and the dimensional weight, which reflects how much space a package takes up.
  • Route. International shipments involve export and import steps and usually cost more than domestic ones.
  • Service. Faster services cost more. Sea freight is slower but often cheaper for heavy goods.
  • Size and handling. Very long or heavy packages can attract handling surcharges.
  • Fuel and extras. Fuel surcharges change over time; optional cover and special handling are extra.
  • Duties and taxes. Import charges are set by the destination country and are not part of the shipping price.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Tracking, transit, documents and cover.

Where do I find my tracking code?

Your tracking code starts with CL and is sent by your coordinator when your shipment is booked. Enter it on the tracking page. Share it only with people who need to follow the shipment.

How long does a shipment usually take?

Air freight is often a few days, ocean freight a number of weeks, and road freight depends on the distance. Those are typical carrier ranges. Your written quote states the transit estimate for your route. It is an estimate, and weather, customs and the carrier can change it.

Do you prepare customs documents?

For international shipments we help you prepare the commercial documents the carrier asks for, such as an invoice and a description of the goods. Clearance is carried out by the carrier or a broker named on your confirmation. Crownline does not act as a licensed customs broker.

Is my shipment insured?

Cover applies only when it is written on your confirmed quote. Ask for it before booking if you need it, and keep those terms. Otherwise, compensation for loss or damage follows the carrier’s liability limits. Report a problem through the claims process.

Do you show the live location of my shipment?

The tracking page shows the last confirmed scan: the place and the time it was recorded. Map, Satellite and Terrain are three views of that place. A moving vehicle position appears only when a live feed is connected for that shipment. No live feed is connected on this platform today.

What can I not send?

Restrictions depend on the route and the carrier. Dangerous goods, lithium batteries, liquids, perishables, cash, weapons and items prohibited by the origin or destination country need advance approval or cannot be accepted. Describe the goods accurately in your quote request.
